Background
A bit about how I got here...
Born and raised in sunny Luton in Bedfordshire, I cut my technical teeth rigging and operating lights for the town's vibrant amateur dramatics scene. At about the same time I began to develop a passion for music and devoted much of my time time to playing the drums and bass guitar. I still play the bass whenever I get the chance.
A strong connection to the Christian church provided me with an an outlet for various bands and the opportunity to borrow lots of sound systems with which to experiment. Even now as a hardened Atheist I maintain many professional contacts (and friendships) within the Church.
Next stop was Middlesex University to do a degree in performing arts which was fun but highlighted to me that I have as much interest in making shows happen as being in them. These days my stage time is limited to playing bands which seems to suit everyone!
Having spent most of the last 5 years as the technical manager of The Comedy Store London, I can bring bring a strong technical background to a role that is traditionally more logistical. After a few years of running shows in the prestigious london club I was asked to take to the road on the Company's behalf. Traveling as far afield as the highlands of Scotland and as near to home as other clubs in leicester square!
