Technical Stage Manager

  • A one man production crew for small to medium scale projects
  • Lighting design and rigging and set building with the knowledge and tools to work in theatres and non-purpose built venues alike
  • Operate lighting and sound during the performance

Production Manager

  • For larger projects, this is a role that starts at early production meetings and usually ends weeks after the event is done!
  • Sourcing outside agencies to provide the various technical elements required
  • Liaising with existing in-house staff and external logistics to create a single point of contact, avoiding confusion and mixed messages
  • Can include budget management

Stage Manager

  • A very specialist skill in a set-up where management structures are already in place
  • Organising and executing the specifics of a live stage whether it be scripted theatre, multi speaker conferences, heavy metal bands or baroque orchestras
  • Show calling and/or organising stage crew

Show operator

  • The person who actually presses the right button at the right time
  • Lighting and sound effect cues on a variety of industry standard consoles
  • Live vision mixing for audio visual presentations
  • Experienced in single role operating (inc. follow spot) for larger events and one man operating for smaller events (and budgets)
